How do you Identify a Meteor Rock?

I found this Rock while gardening, it's very Dark...Almost Black....and Very Heavy....Smooth but Irregular Shape....About the size of a Walnut....It's not Magnetic....It just doesn't look like a Normal Rock....All Answers Appreciated
