Is it normal to experiment with other girls?

Well, I'm bisexual and I was wondering if it was normal for two close friends (Who are both girls) to experiment with each other? We're both almost 17 years old, and I don't think it will ruin our friendship since she and I both want to experiment, but I'm wondering if it's a normal thing for girls and guys to do with each other?
