[your opinions please] Recent elections have been characterized by small turnouts of...?

I know people will come up with every reason why this is not true, but really my one vote does not make a difference. In electing a president I am voting with millions of other voters. If I don't vote it would not make any difference than if I did vote. Only in very small elections would my vote have a better chance of making a difference. No one wants to really be realistic about that.
