so a jazz split. it will help to get the actual splits thats how i started out then i got the splits after doing this everyday for like a few months. you put right foot straight in front of u while sitting on the floor, and put ur right leg in the back of u and bend it, try to put it as far as u can in back of u then push ur lower back into the floor without arching ur back. and land on ur elbows but keep ur legs in the same position if u need clearier advice just go to youtube and search jazz splits.
